How did starbucks receive its logo?

Answer:
They knew they be going to charge so much for a cup of coffee, that only a movie star could afford it ! Hence the baptize star---- bucks $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
The company logo is a "twin-tailed mermaid, or siren as she's prearranged in Greek mythology".[6] The logo have been streamlined over the years. In the first altered copy, the Starbucks siren had nude breasts and a fully-visible double fish tail. In the second version, her breasts be covered by hair, but her navel be still visible, and the fish tail be cropped slightly. In the current version, her navel and breasts are not apparent at all, and simply vestiges remain of the fish tails. The untested logo can still be seen on the Starbucks store within Seattle's Pike Place Market and on Starbucks Anniversary Blend 1 lb coffee bags.

At the launch of September 2006, Starbucks temporarily reintroduced their original brown logo in print hot beverage cups. Starbucks has stated that this be done to show the company's heritage from the Pacific Northwest and to celebrate 35 years of business, however the vintage logo have sparked some controversy due to the siren's bare chest.[7] Recently, an elementary institution principal in Kent, Washington be reported as asking teachers to "cover up" the mermaid of the retro cups near a cup sleeve of some kind.

The original creators chose the siren because contained by Greek Mythology, it was the Sirens who drew contained by the sailors because of their beauty and their singing. The sailors would never want or be able to make tracks. Starbuck's wanted to draw relatives in newly like the Sirens!

Also, the pet name Starbuck's comes from the coffee loving character Starbuck within Moby Dick.
