Did Coke taste different contained by the 1930's vs the present. Are there slightly different ingrediants contained by the newer version than surrounded by the 1930's,1940's,1950's.

Answers:
I don't know about the 30's and 40's but it is noticeably different from the cocacola of the 60's.
If you want to see what coca cola in 1967 taste like, procure yourself a bottle of Jolt Cola.
The ad _used to say_ "Twice the caffein and adjectives the sugar"
Hopefully, that is still true as it be just similar to Coke used to be.

The junk within coke bottles now is naught like what it should be. Thank you , food police.
At that time, coke syrup come from a pump at the counter, and then seltzer be added to make it fizzy. Yes, it be definitely different, and much better. the "soda jerk", as they be called at the time could incorporate more syrup if you were a special personality..Ah, the memories
My Mom (who's kinda afraid of "that internet" so I'm answering for her!) says that Coke be a syrup that they mixed up fresh at the Drug Store or soda fountain, and it was thicker, sweeter, and have a bigger caffeine jolt. When it be bottled, it seemed a moment or two weaker, but it was frequently used to "settle the stomach" as a home remedy, even into the sixties. She think the formula changed forever in the 60's.
Coca-Cola did once contain an estimated nine milligrams of cocaine per chalice, but in 1903 it be removed. After 1904, Coca-Cola started using, instead of fresh coca leaves, "spent" leaves - the leftovers of the cocaine-extraction process near cocaine trace levels departed over at a molecular level. So that taste a lot diferent than in a minute.

plus, back next (and later) sugar was the primary sweetener, whereas very soon, the lethal HighFructose Corn Syrup is used...that taste different too.
for a while they had changed the recipe, after they changed it back which is why is say classic on the bottle/can
I wasn't here for the 30's but it is different from the 60's til now.I imagine they added more fizz,it can be strong. But good. Thanks for 2.
