White tea mold?

I have have an air-tight container of White Tea for quite some time. I just this minute opened the container to get some tea, and observed yellow, fuzzy stuff surrounded by the container and all over the tea. It does not look close to mold, but I can't imagine what else it would be. This happen to my mom with white tea as capably, and she didn't have hers for intensely long. Anyone know what it is?

Answer:
it's hard to believe that mold would grow within a container that is nouns tight and totally dry inside. I bought some loose leaf white tea just now and when I used a plastic measuring spoon to take home some, I noticed the bottom of the spoon have some fuzzies sticking to it. Obviously from static cling.. I didn't think it be mold though.

Try making a cup of it in nearly boiling sea, and see how it tastes, if you are comfortable doing that. If not, it's not worth worrying around getting sick. good luck.
my white tea never did that. i wouldn't drink it
i well-educated about tea somewhat. you have to keep hold of tea in a darkened place where sunlight cant turn in and it have to be kept dry
