what are some enthnic foods that smells stinky?


These are the stinkiest Filipino food like dried fish, bagoon, patis, and duran. My dad cooks dried fish for breakfast and my home smells approaching a rotten fungi toe.
For Koreans, kim chi reeks of a distinct aroma.

I actually LOVE it immediately after living in Japan for almost 9 years.(*^o^*) I repeatedly mix it with kimchi and drink it, the BEST! Can you imagine BOTH those smells mixed? Seriously though, it's scrumptious.

There's some sort of tofu dish they cook surrounded by China... I forgot it's name but it smells resembling a wet dog within a dirty diaper. There's also a ramen shop in the city where on earth I live that's smells like a pile of inert bodies, but ramen doesn't usually smell that way. Just the one place. I wouldn't turn there if I be you.

Cabbage is a part of soul food that stinks. It also make u flatulent.

Well, my favourites are Gorgonzola cheese, sürstr"oming (a fermented fish from Sweden) and durian fruit from Malaysia. Oh yeah, hangikj"ott, dried smoked mutton from Iceland looks, smells and taste exactly like dog ****, and it's awfully good.

Goat blood. Not a food, but a intricacy in some parts of Tanzania. It smells disgusting.

Agree with Cyn.. "nattou" is stinky too, the first time when someone treated me "kimchee natto tofu soup" within a Korean BBQ restaurant in Tokyo, I wasn't brave adequate to try it. Now I fix omelette with kimchee + nattou + parmesan cheese!

The Taiwanese hold their 'smelly' beancurd, the Singaporeans, Indonesians and Malaysians have their 'belachan' which is a dried shrimp powder/cube usually used to brand name a chilli paste. the chinese enjoy their salted vegetables and fish together with Szechuan preserved vegetables.

Many Americans eat these things call "hot dogs" that are basically intestines stuffed near ground up "everything you wouldn't eat" stuffed inside them. They smell very strange, and the Americans cover them beside mustard, pickles and ketchup to disguise the smell before they'll even guzzle them!
