its a small dumpling like octopus. wasn't crunchy, You can't really visably see the octopus it be wrapped in something close to a dumpling but smaller.

Here within Missouri, my kids make them for their friends after arts school with our special griddle from Walmart. It's tough to get the special sauce, so we a moment ago use Tonkatsu sauce. At first the kids thought the octopus was freaky, but as everyone knows-anything fried taste better!
