Indian cuisine is not very dutiful! It is too spicy and does not taste of anything. There are a great deal of better cuisines, like the italian one, mexican, chinese, japanese... why are you so proud of your cooking? You put away too much rice and nothing else!

Coz its hygienic & even though its spicy but but its healthy also...and do not forget its sharp also...U know one thing UK's national dish is Chiken Tikka Masala Which is Indian..I regard this is enough for this ask.

I've had dishes range in spice adjectives the way from mild to "sweating hot" as I be warned by the waitress. They are adjectives wonderful. If you think Indian cuisine does not soft spot of anything, you need to find a different restaurant.
If you live close to Stockton, CA, go to Tandori Nights. They cook the best Indian food I've ever have, making them in my evaluation the best restaurant in the world.

I am not sure where on earth you guys are getting your Indian food, but I have eat in the United States and surrounded by India and it is the best. The quality and mixed bag of the spices is extraordinary; it is a completely different spice palette than in the Far East or Mexico and South America.
There is plenty of collection within India as okay. The cooking of Andhra Pradesh is distinct (and distinctly spicier) than northern cuisine, which is so often the valise - that is, northern food is fairly bland, southern food is spicer.
To each his own, but I am not Indian and I love Indian food best. I soak up Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Mediterranean, Thai and just in the region of everything else, but when I want a real treat, I want Indian.
i 2 agree tht india cuisine is spicy but u can't find loads of variety in it ..it take u 4m north to south & east to west of india.if ne country looses its own identity it'll b exterminated 1 day 4 sure.

The variety is amazing. I alone can cook 20-30 types of dosas made from watermellon skin, cucumber skin, plain rice, rice mixed next to different cereials and so on.
Regarding rice some places I have be where rice and wheat are not available, other cereal like bajri, jowari are a staple diet.
Go to the rural side and see their cooking to get hold of a better understanding to some extent than stupid 3 star hotels where matching cook tries to cook Thai, Punjabi, South Indian, Italian and Mexican food using the same masala used within different proportions..
Personally I find Indian food to be absolutely wonderful! The combination of the spices merely makes my mouth sea! We have Indian food at lowest possible once a week in our home. My father be from Sri Lanka so I grew up on the stuff. it does not have to be eat with plain rice, in that are plenty of ways to have it!

Indian Food does have copious healing properties specifically one reason why it is GOOD for you. I love South Indian & My Husband prefers North. It is tremendously different. Not a lot of brackish is needed because there are so abundant types of herbs used surrounded by the cuisine. The many herb have different remedial properties. Rice is a condiment . Most of us pile out food on top of our rice, the rice shouold be used to coll your mouth along beside the yogurt. Basically it is according to preference. My children 7,4 & 2 LOVE Indian the even ask to dance have it.. It is ok that you dont approaching it, but many do..

You are comparing Indian food to what you get through, thats being ethnocentric. Indian food vary from state to state, and obviously we are going to put away lots of rice because thats one of the main foods contained by India. Rice is abundant and fighting fit.
You probably have never even eat REAL Italian, Mexican, Chinese, or Japanese food. Most Americans think Taco Bell is "Mexican" or the Olive Garden is "Italian". It isn't. You shouldn't be so blinkered, don't judge a culture you hold no idea something like. Every culture should be proud of the food they cook, its unique and luscious. You may not like Indian food, but do not put down a culture that have lasted for thousands of years on rice and spices.
