How to cook and prepare garden snails?

These are the large garden snails (Helix helix) that the French and Spanish get through. We have a plague surrounded by the garden so I though to put them to gastronomic use. Any recipes/advice much appreciated.

Answer:
You will have to purge them by feed them on one food, like carrot or lettuce, for between 3 and 5 days, and then starve them for 2 days to verbs their guts and to make them smaller quantity slimey. You can omit the starvation bit if you are hungry for snails in a minute. Keep them alive in a okay ventilated container beside room to move, wire across the top to stop them escaping.Cook within well salted boiling hose down with stock vegetables, carrot, onion, celery and a splash vinegar.Cook for 10 mins. remove from shell near a pin when cooled. Re-heat in garlic butter to serve.
eeewwww! that's nasty
I would make sure you really hold the right snails first. Then do a search for French cuisine, I consider its garlic snails that they eat the most. Happy ingestion.
OY!
Hang on..wait, yeah, I mull over I just vomited a short time...
I ponder you should go to a French restaurant and flog them your snails instead of eating it yourself.
You'd take rid of them & make money too!
