Eat Rabbit??

I'm A rabbit lover....I just found out associates eat rabbit! How can you do it?? Is in that anyone else who thinks i.e. TERRIBLE?

Answer:
Yes I think it's catastrophic. I grew up on a farm and my father butchered our rabbits for food. Rabbits yell terribly, not merely when they're being kill but when the other rabbits are as well. It's horrible!
No.
taste like chicken...
Well yes. But that must have be the way it be prepared. Besides there is not plenty meat on the creature to last more than one or two meal. So not a very accurate animal to go hunting for. I hear once that the meat on a rabbit is such a poor quality that if that be your only protein source surrounded by a month you would be dead. But I've never checked that out.
So rabbit, not a favorite.
Besides it is not as horrifying as eating lobster. The opening they are cooked is down right cruel.
yuk ! lots of citizens do in louisiana ! if you ever verbs one , the smell will turn you against it !
yeah
I would feel equal way if I be in a country that ate cat meat, because I am a cat lover. But yes, nearby are people that hunt and put on a pedestal rabbits for food. I do not think it is outrageous, but I wish to be sensitive to your mental state and I will not relay my personal experiences on this matter.
I tried it once and I like it because it is different I didn't know what it be until I ate it. My grandma was cooking dinner it surface to be a rabbit my uncle caught in the woods, but it have a wild fancy that I like, something different for a while.
I've made rabbit a few times. The meat is quite correct. Personally I don't think it's frightening to eat animals for food.

I am sorry about this revelation for you! The truth is, several people within the world eat rabbit, especially hunters. Long ago, I too, hunted "wild" rabbits for sport. My father other told me that if you hunt an animal and eat it, it is not sinful. But I can come up with of many other "domestic" animals that I would fairly eat. Namely;
chicken, beef, or seafood. These food types are more pleasing to consumers as a protein-rich nutrition source and are very adjectives in local market today. I truly believe that what people want to accept as a food source is relative. As you may not know, dogs are a subtleness in masses Asian countries. As for me, rabbits taste to some extent good, but house-train ones are much more tender. But they lack the skin that a chicken have to offer and that`s why do not taste as angelic when fried. And therefore, I do not meditate eating a rabbit is so vile, even though rabbits are one of the most timid and innocently delicate creatures on this Earth. (but so are cows... when did you end eat a hamburger?)
I wonder?
In my origin country, some society eat rabbit, dog, snake, monkey, and bat...but I never touch that...yuckkkkkkkkk
What's so terrible going on for it? Just because rabbits are unbelievably cute, and make nice pets, doesn't alter the certainty that they're made of meat!! Deer too - they're cute, although not such good pets I assume..!
; )

Personally, I don't see any root for a rabbit or dog - or cat - to be treated differently from cows, sheep, pigs or chickens. Did you know that pigs are the closest animals to humans? When's the last time you hear talk of a chimp to man transplant? Surely if ANY animal deserves to be treated as superior it would be man's cousin, the pig..!
; )

Back to the bunnies, I've with the sole purpose eaten it a couple of times, and found it more bony than chicken, but not so different. But you may not realise that within many parts of the world in that are too many rabbits - and the psychos move about around POISONING them! Now THAT'S criminal! If they really MUST remove part of the rabbit population, surely shooting them and feed people is much more 'humane' (for want of a better word)?! Even turning them into cat food and dog food for people's pets would be better than lately destroying them and leaving them to rot...!
rabbit is good, lots farmers raise domestic rabbit for slaughter within the upper Midwest
rabbit is the national dish contained by the country where i am living at the moment (island of malta). it have taken me years to get over the reality that rabbits are killed and eat here ( im from the usa) my husband loves them but i prefer to give it a miss as i surface sorry for the rabbits, but then that go for any animal that is kill so we can eat. I prefer vegetables and nuts/legumes/grains that bearing nothing have to die for me to live
I don't come up with it is any more terrible than ingestion beef from a cow or steer, or a lamb, or any other meat either.
I am pretty sure that the Chicken union is studying a road to replace chicken "nuggets" with rabbit on McDonalds menu...
And a nice big Easter bunner will serve a loved ones of 6 quite other!!
maintain breeding i'll eat-em !
what do you think the pioneers ate as a staple -they needed the beef for the milk /and product which brought some income-? for you is do you chomp through chicken ?? or any other god sent protein ?
lets obverse it ,wabbit's good to eat-ask elmer-f.
Yes it is very honourable. Use ground rabbit meat in stuffed pepper,
instead of ground beef.
im a rabbit lover too...cant bring back my hands rotten them...they are yummmmmy
I dont undrestand your consern unless you are fully lacto-vegetarian, but there is no difference if you munch through rabbit or any other animal.
I haven't eat rabbit, but I would try it if it was capably prepared. I don't see what the problem is, I heard it taste like chicken. I guess I can thoughtful of see where you are coming from. I wouldn't chomp through a cat or dog, unless that's al there be. Just because an animal is cute doesn't mean you can't drink it. No one ever complains if someone eats the misshapen looking Tuna fish. Why is that?
