This is the recipe for Traditional Greek Salad...NO dressing needed...you can buy feta at any supermarket in our time, but I like purchasing mine from my local cheese or foodie food shop...there are 3 types of feta I hold come across - Greek, French and Bulgarian...
4-5 large, ripe, tomatoes
1 immense red onion
1 cucumber
1 green bell pepper
1/4 pound of feta cheese, sliced or cumbled
dried oregano
sea saline
top quality extra virgin olive grease
1 dozen olives (Kalamata, green Cretan olives, etc.)
pickled pepperoncini hot peppers (garnish)
1 tablespoon of marine
PREPARATION:
Wash and dry the tomatoes, cucumber, and green pepper. Clean off the outer skin from the onion, clean up, and dry.
Cut the tomatoes into bite-sized irregularly shaped chunks, removing the core. Salt lightly. Slice the cucumber into 1/4-inch slices, adjectives slices in partially (whether or not you peel the cucumber is a personal choice). Salt insubstantially. Slice the pepper into rings, removing the stem and seeds. Salt weakly. Slice the onion into thin rings.
Combine the tomatoes, cucumbers, green pepper and onion surrounded by a large salad bowl. Sprinkle near oregano, pour olive oil over the salad, and toss. Just past serving, place the feta on top of the salad, any as a slice or crumbled and toss in some olives. Sprinkle the cheese next to oregano (and pepper if desired), mix the oil and wet and drizzle over the top, and serve, garnished beside hot peppers.

But sometimes lately plain old Feta. Serve it near some pita bread and felaffel. Yummy!

You can find feta cheese from the market within the sliced cheese aisle. It will be crumbled in a plastic container. The Greek or Mediterranean one is seasoned beside basil and tomatoes.
Also, add some olives to your salad, and a balsamic vinegarette.
