I necessitate SOPAPILLAS!!?

Does any! other than general public from New Mexico know what sopapillas are. Can I get them surrounded by the bay nouns?

Answers:
Here ya go (in skin you can't find a restaurant there) -- from a New Mexican -- Enjoy.

SOPAPILLA MIX

4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. shortening
1 c. thaw out water

Thoroughly mix dry ingredients; put in shortening and mix until it is thoroughly dissolved. Slowly add going on for 1 cup warm hose and kneed until smooth. Dough is a little stiffer than pie dough. Cover near damp cloth and permit rise 1 hour.
For cooking: Roll out very emaciated and cut in rectangular strips roughly 3 x 4 inches. Cook in cavernous fat, grease, or shortening, turning until golden brown. Serve hot with butter and honey.

If they don't puff while cooking, grease is not hot enough or dough is not rolled bony enough.

never hear of it

stir to a mexican restaurant.

I do!...those things are good!!...almost any mexican restaurant make them, so just do some mexican restaurant research within your area, and eventually you will find who make them..i don't know if the bay nouns have mexican restaurants, im sure you know that better than me... apposite luck finding them!

Man I haven't have those in a long time...I live within the Bay Area & the few Mexican Rest. I've been to didn't own them. But at the same time not everyone make them good. & there's Mexican food tht I grew up w/ surrounded by South Texas near the border, tht empire over here don't even know what they are. Like Carne Gusada or Pan de Polvo.

I know what they are.I have eat them in Mexican Restaurants earlier, I don't know where you can obtain them where you are..SORRY! But...we hold made the same point at home...(they just don't look matching, but they taste impossible to tell apart!) Get some cheap can biscuits.cut them in partly..fry them in your cavernous fryer (when you oil is hot!) for going on for 2-3 mins..til golden brown.get you some butter & honey and ENJOY!!

Hope this help!

I live in Vegas and still own not found anyone that makes them as fitting as back contained by Texas. There is this place that makes them so buoyant and airy and then you put some honey within them.MMMMM!

Any Big Lots in any town should hold the batter for them
