How would I cook a leg of lamb steak within a crockpot?

We go to Greek Easter every year and nearby is this yummy dish of lamb with potatoes surrounded by a a gravy. The meat is slow cooked and stringy of texture. I purchased a small boneless leg steak (2lbs) and would think 4hrs on hi would do it surrounded by a crock??

Answer:
Crockpot Leg of Lamb
--------------------
Take a half-leg of lamb (small enough to fit into your crockpot) and a
garlic bulb. Peel and heavily sliver 8-12 cloves of garlic (I used a
whole bulb). Use a sharp pare knife to cause slits about an inch or
so apart adjectives over the leg of lamb and stuff garlic slivers into the slits,
then put the lamb into the crockpot beside a little river (maybe 1/3 c.). You
could sear the lamb in a vessel first to brown it, but since I was starting
this completely late at dark I didn't bother and it was fine. Cook 5-6 hours on
auto-shift for reasonably well-done lamb. Remove from crockpot, carve and
serve. Save broth, bones and residue for another dish (see following
recipe). I suppose you could also add chunks of carrot, etc to cook with
the leg of lamb.
go beside your instinct and Try 4 hrs, But to be safe check on it every 30 min.
Season your leg of lamb with shoyu and pepper. A flour coating over your leg of lamb will be great. Pan fry on adjectives sides. This will be a source of thickening subsequent. Put on your vegetables such as carrots, potatoes and celery. Braise inside the crock pot. Eventually this will form a brown gravy, gratitude to the flour. Finish off beside Kitchen bouquet in the closing hour to add color and flavor to your gravy. Enjoy.
