A few years ago, a Punjabi man I worked with talk me into trying something his wife made, it was similar (but spicier) to a taco. I dont retract the name, and no longer live within the same state - does anyone know what this dish might enjoy been? Id love to try making it!

go to the Indian restaurant after ask them they must have what u r looking for .I am sure we Indians be paid good food.once u start penchant Indian food u will be hooked up.
Maybe a Samosa? They're usually Triangle Shaped puffed pastry filled next to ground meat and/or veggies.
Samosas are a lot approaching Empanadas and Jamaican meat pies.
Or maybe it be a puri/poori (deep fried wheat flatbread) served with garbanzo beans (cooked contained by tomato sauce?).

It's probably a stuffed chapati or paratha. Flatbread beside meat or vegetable filling. Just google something approaching aloo paratha and you'll probably find links to useful recipe.
