Why is it that some citizens don't similar to sushi?

Answer:
For Yozora on here, defending sushi and knocking those who don't similar to it...

I have tried it...several times within different high-end restaurants that supposedly have THE BEST sushi surrounded by the country. And to me, it tastes similar to something that just wash up on shore and laid there for a couple of days. It's the seaweed...disgusting...the cold rice...YUCK!...and anything they have wrapped up and hiding inside of it. I hold never tried the raw fish sushi, but I hold no doubt it would just enhance my feelings further. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I know it's suppose to be wholesome for ya, but so is Cod Liver Oil...and I don't put that on my menu either.
raw fish is obnoxious. It can give you woms, or food poisoning.
I live within a age where not solitary do we know how to make fire to cook, but we enjoy created things called stoves and ovens as economically as other machines to cook our food.
Not everyone like every food. It's a matter of love. I dont understand why some of these relations here are thinking sushi is raw fish though. The word sushi refers to the rice roll. Fillings can be fish or veggies. Most of the times the fish is cooked.
we like our fish cooked
'Cuz it's friggin' raw fish, man!
its raw fish
I guess it's because of the raw fish and adjectives that... But I personally LOVE sushi!!
I wouldn't eat untreated beef either. It's foul!
I similar to sushi, it's just not my most favorite food within the world though. I usually stick with veggie or California rolls. Mostly for the rice, crab, veggies, and wasabi.
Because Sushi is an "aquired" taste. My son loves it. He brought some home for me, I tried it and gag it out.Couldn't get the swallow out of my mouth for about an hour. Also, alot of relatives (including me) are just repelled at the thought of intake raw fish.
Because sushi leaves a bad taster in your mouth and it is only just plain "NASTY!!...
sushi is not organic fish. The fish is either smoked or cooked. Sashimi is unprepared, I believe. I am a big sushi lover and I make it at home occationally, although I a short time ago can't make the rolls as tight as they do contained by restaurants.
I abominate the smell and texture of raw fish I love sushi when I hold no fish in it the reat I love.
Unless you get a super fresh fish, lots people antipathy sushi! It should have the penchant of the sea and beyond doubt no smell; plus some like octopus is too chewy; instinctively, I love it with a weaken layer of shaved deep-sea salt....yum!
For me it's the taste of the seaweed and the cold rice. I don't own a problem with any crude fish that might be in the roll. I can chomp through raw tuna on its own beside no problem.
unprocessed fish has worms; that's why you must drink it with wasabi. If unprepared fish is not prepared well, afterwards it may make you sick.
maybe cuz some race dont like fish!
I think a big misconception is that sushi is unprepared fish. The name "sushi" in actuality just identify it as a roll with rice and seaweed, and the ingredients can alter. Many types of sushi don't even contain meat, some are purely vegetable, some have tofu and mushrooms. The word for rare fish is "sashimi," so if you have a sashimi roll, that's when you're ingestion uncooked Nemo.

Sushi is also one of those types of food that masses people are squeamish in the region of without ever have tried it, but it's actually reasonably delicious. If you seize a rice roll with crab and vegetables, put a slice of ginger and some wasabi mixed near soy sauce on top, and then get through it with chopsticks, there's something tempting and exotic about it, and even so it becomes comfort food enormously easily. It's one of my guilty pleasures.
Most of the people who claim to 'hate' sushi hold never tried it ... they should really say that they don't close to the THOUGHT of sushi, but that's flawed too because most of them don't have a clue what sushi IS!
; )

These days, 'sushi' is seasoned rice. The seasoning includes rice vinegar. It can be shaped into rolls, beside seaweed around the outside and something in the middle - it can be shaped into an oval / triangle / bubble / rectangle (or any other shape you want) and decorated near whatever topping you resembling.

Yes, it CAN have unprepared fish - but not ALL the time, by any means.

Most of the folks who hate sushi and they HAVE tried it be unfortunate satisfactory to get sushi made next to low quality / un-fresh fish. Now THAT is repulsive - but it's not the 'sushi' to blame, it's the criminal claiming that the rubbish he/she sells IS sushi when it's a moment ago garbage!

Most folks who've tried decent sushi any love it or like it. Some will dislike it, but even they'll be prepared to munch through certain variety of sushi ... they do all drink different you know..!! Frankly, I don't know what so many Americans are complaining almost - the sushi they have easiest access to be created especially FOR the American taste-buds (you know, the ones half destroyed by ketchup and McD,) and it have no raw fish - regularly it's vegetarian! How can you complain around THAT?
because the natural fish and the seaweed..
Because population have different taste.. DUH! Sucks for them, because sushi is the best.
it's probablt the crude factor. For some ppl like me the rawness is not a problem. I lately don't like seafood.
if one is a vegetarian they cant stand sushi food as they see live fishes floating contained by the water...cannot dream of you can eat them instantly cooked.
I don't like it because I hold never developed a like for seafood.

The thought of untouched or even cooked seafood just turns my stomach.
Some people don't have a handle on the concept. The japanese have other been specified for being the most hygenic society on the planet. When europeans weren't bathing, the japanese were. Although the thought of untouched fish doesn't always appeal to inhabitants, the fish is usually cut and served the same morning it is caught and killed. If you perceive in most authentic asian restaurants, you can choose your fish live and it is prepared fast. Therefore you don't have to verbs about worms and food poisoning.
