16 is a little outmoded for a "themed" party. You should freshly plan a get together for his close friends and tolerate them choose their "theme", if any. Most kids that age enjoy a worthy pool & pizza party.

Look at things he likes. What is he into? If he is really into some concerned of video game and his friends are into it also, budge with that matter. I don't mean to make elegant in it and own the cutsie cake you might have when he be 12. I'm talking in the order of gifts along that theme and contests for the teens playing the winter sport. Or if he's not really into something like that, how more or less an adventure them? Again, not taking around decorating and cake. I'm chitchat about him taking a few friends to a subject matter park (Six Flags, a water park, etc.) or a camping/fishing trip. You don't necessarily hold to have a traditional f¨ēte. Get a few of his friends and do something they truly enjoy. Just fashion sure you base it on what your 16 year elderly likes (not what you presume he likes.) Have fun.

Well, it depends on that 16 y.o. boy. If he's a manga maniac, consequently of course manga event would be great. If that boy is still naive or childish (rare, but not impossible) - something simple, resembling ... nature? It's really difficult to choose a subject matter without knowing that boy.

I surmise a rain tango should be fun for 16 year olds.....you can have showers or sprinklers (on top of a pole so that it give a shower effect) in a meadow and make the salsa floor under it. With the summer approaching...it will be a dutiful relief too. Dress code can be shorts & pajamas. And enjoy all kind of finger food....like burgers, french fries, vada pav, hot dogs, kababs, frankies, lots of drinks similar to juices, nariyal paani, aerated.....And final but not the least own very fundamentally good music so that the youngters can stroke their feet for a long time!
