My work is having a potluck subsequent week and somebody came up next to the plan of having a "movie' issue. We need to bring something that relates to a movie surrounded by some way. Here are some accepted wisdom people own come up with:
Finding Nemo - Sushi
Napoleon Dynamite - Quesadillas
Wedding Crashers - Cake
The Simpsons - Donuts.
Anybody own some ideas they can share next to me.I am drawing a blank on this.
Any help would be really appreciated because I am not foreboding very creative right immediately.

How about a sports movie resembling Friday Night Lightsor The Longest Yard. Have superbowl type munchies, like hoagies, nachos, bean dip, etc.
One of my favorite snacks to indulge surrounded by is taco dip. Mix together beef and taco seasoning, and salsa. Put in the bottom of a bowl or tray, and top near a layer of shredded cheese and another stratum of sour cream. Get a bag or two of Tostitos and dip away.
A FilmFeast potluck could be fun -- citizens bringing food from their favorite food scene in a movie --
spagetti and meat ball from Lady and the Tramp,
mole from Like Water for Chocolate, tortilla soup from...Tortilla Soup.
Think tamales from "Babel" or English scones from "The Queen.")
How about a "superhero sandwich?" for the INCREDIBLES...put fun superhero label on everything. Create sandwiches and cut into base...

Out Of Africa
Spicy African Yam Soup
* 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
* 1 small onion, chopped
* 1 significant sweet potato, peeled and diced
* 1 clove garlic, minced
* 4 cups chicken broth
* 1 teaspoon dried thyme
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
* 1 cup chunky salsa
* 1 (15.5 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained
* 1 cup diced zucchini
* 1/2 cup cooked rice
* 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
DIRECTIONS
1. Heat the grease in a stockpot over prevailing conditions heat. Saute onion, sweet potato, and garlic until onion is soft. Turn down warmness if necessary to prevent burning.
2. Stir within the chicken broth, thyme and cumin. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes. Stir within salsa, garbanzo beans and zucchini. Simmer until tender, about 15 minutes.
3. Stir surrounded by the cooked rice and peanut butter until the peanut butter has dissolved. Serve hot next to pita chips and a green salad.
You could do something like a punch made next to mountain dew and limeade (so that it's green) that could resemble Absinthe from Moulin Rouge. Or Fried rice and fried chicken for the Rush Hour movies, or black and white cookies for March Of The Penguins. Or try popcorn balls for Rookie of The Year (or any other baseball movie), or try something resembling a "sampler platter" of mall cast-offs food to represent the movie Clueless. That could include chicken fingers, jalapeno poppers, soft pretzels, or anything else you can think of. You're choices be off to a honourable start too. But these are some things that will minimize your time in the kitchen. Good luck!
