If you are have a graduation party, it is flawless to have music to be exact appealing to all age groups. You can hold some mellow vibes in the origin when everyone is arriving or is eating, next to artists like Jack Johnson Songs: ("Upside Down, Better Together, Good People, Thicker than Water"), Coldplay Songs: ("Clocks, Fix You, Don't Panic, The Scientist"), Maroon 5 songs: ("Sunday Morning, Must acquire out",) Dave Matthews Band,("Stay", "So Much to Say", Crash"), Michael Buble("Feeling Good"), John Mayer ("Waiting for the world Change", "No Such Thing"), Jimmy Buffet ("Volcano", "Margaritaville", "Come Monday"), Sting (Living Seas Soundtrack)

To kick the get-together up a notch- you can add for a while more upbeat songs like:
"Get this group started" by Pink
"Let's get Loud" Jennifer Lopez
I don't know what mode of a crowd you will have, but family always approaching the old standby songs such as, "We are family"- Sister Sledge, "Celebration" - Kool and the Gang, "Shout" - The Isley Brothers (1959),"You Should Be Dancing" - Bee Gees (1976),"Y.M.C.A." - Village People (1979)
"The Twist " - Chubby Checker (1960)
Also songs from Johnny Cash ("Get Rhythm", "Ring of Fire"),

More current artists that are well brought-up for a younger crowd include songs by Nelly Furtado("Say It Right"), Gwen Stefani("Cool") or No Doubt, Fergie, ("Glamorous")Justin Timberlake("Sexy Back"), Beyonce, and whatever else you consistency like calculation.

Of course, you'll want to throw in some graduation themed songs resembling: "These Are the Days", by Natalie Merchant
"Time of Your Life", by Green Day, "Wide Open Spaces", by Dixie Chicks, Eve6 (Here's to the Night), "Graduation Day" by Vitamin C, "Somewhere over the rainbow/ what a wonderful word" by Israel Kamawivo 'Ole,
"Forever Young"- Rod Stewart or Alphaville, "I Believe I can Fly"- R. Kelly, "I Hope you Dance" - Lee Ann Womack,...
