My Husband and I are leaving the UK at the wrap up of August and need some planning for a leaving jamboree. We can't really afford to hire out a venue and we don't have a house big satisfactory to have a gathering there. So any great thinking on the cheap would be much appreciated!

Make it a bring your own drinks. Also what we have done is set up a decked out Klennex box and a book for friends comments. The box is for " Resettlement Funds." Make the event more of a social gathering for friends and basically eat, drink and chat. You really don't obligation dancing and adjectives of the hoopla that goes beside it. I hope this helps.
Do you know of any club houses to rent? Here within the states, most of the apartment complexes have a clubhouse, and they allow tenant to rent it. A lot of them are very nice and come w/ the works--tv, full kitchen, ample chairs, etc.
Don't botter paying to have a event. I'M sure that they will have a delegation of their own once you leave.
merely go 2 a restraunt it could b fun
enjoy it at ur house but have it outside.outdoors is a huge nouns...and since the weather is nicer these days it will be the watertight time to host an outside party! pious luck and have fun!
