Well it would (to me) in a complete circle since it can't achieve its head. For example; A dog chasing it's tail,if at all possible, bites its tail it will end up making a circle or atleast a oval. ^^ apt question though!
The symbol for infinity is a snake devouring itself...but I'm not in actual fact sure that a snake could bend it's body in such a style that it could devour more than two thirds of its own body length without a broken spine
It can't possibly get through its own head so it have to end up next to A HEAD!
