30th Birthday cake design?

Looking for ideas as to what to put on a cake (sheet) for my sister who will be 30. She does not approaching flowers and frilly stuff. This will not be a dirty cake. She will be surprised. Do not want black icing. Will have the words on within as far who it is for and from. What other simple designs and colors would look great?

Answers:
How about have crushed graham crackers and oreos mixed spread around the edges and a little tossed contained by the middle with the words "Older than Dirt"?

Or how just about the words "It's all fun and games until it happen to you"?

I don't know if I'd put "Happy 30th Mary from your friends" (this is just an example: don't know what sis' nickname is) on it without accumulation a bit of pokey humor. Everyone knows that turning 30 is a huge milestone and it's fun to engender fun.

Any color would be cool - pick her 2 favorite colors and have them only do balloons surrounded by those colors in respectively corner of the cake.

Happy birthday to your sis!
If you can locate a really cute photo of her from when she was little, you could own Albertsons (or whoever) put the image on the cake and something resembling look how you've grown or something about how she still looks so babyish. They can do up to 8 1/2" x 11" per photo. I have even combined several to brand name a collage.

I found a photo of my best friends party when she be about 4 and they have a cake shaped like a frog (green and everything). We have the bakery recreate the same cake and used the photo for the invitations. That be a big hit.

Good luck!
Incorporate one of her hobbies. Does she like the tropics? Make a sand using graham cracker crumbs and blue icing for waves. Shopping? Use icing to clear it look like a shoebox beside a particular brand logo, resembling Manolo Blahnik which you can find on the internet.

The possibilities are endless. You can use candies for embellishment if you aren't much for fancy frosting work.
STARZZ! if shes not too girly, or too sporty, she'll close to starzz.
Get a Mad Hatter Cake Instead! They are unique looking cake and not to girly.
