This is a wonderful idea! I used to do this at my guys place adjectives the time! (b4 we moved in together...immediately it's easier! lol!)
And shrimp is such a nice choice! Do it all up next to a salad of mixed baby greens and a simple vinaigrette, put in some crusty bread or rolls, too. And maybe do for a while appetizer and a dessert, also. (chocolate is always sexy!)
I articulate, set the table as nice as you can...tablecloth, cloth napkins, candles (float some in some marine in a chalice bowl!). If you have charger plates, those are a nice agency to fancy up your plates and add some color to the table. If you want to buy some, you can find some for pretty cheap!
Make sure you enjoy fancy water goblet (throw a slice of lemon in) and nice wine glasses.
Either wine is really fine - the rules to what color to serve are kinda outdated...If you both prefer red, turn with red! And if you do a white wine, chill it within an ice bucket right at the table!
Be sure to help yourself to a nice cd or two over - some sexy jazz music or something slow, and romantic!
And of course, wear somethin' sexy.
He will love it - what man doesn't love a great dinner and a sexy girl?
Have fun!
What humane of shrimp are you making? If it's more to mayonaise, white grape wine would be fine. But if you're non alcoholic just pour oolong tea. If you're more into spicy, use hot dajeerling tea. For the table, use a white sheet of cloth that's longer than the table itself and spread it. Put a candle within the centre and put roses surrounding it. Distribute white clear chalice, plate and bowl, spoons, fork, knives within each side. Oh, and don't forget a plain paper handkerchief they use in restaurants. I suggest you not to own the dinner on his house, if you mess up, he'll laugh at you. Prepare quicker at your house before he arrives.
I suggest its a great idea - so long as he's ok wiht you going into his house and doing stuff resembling this. Can you get into his house and arrange it adjectives before he get home?
Keep the table simple - guys don't notice much and they don't resembling too much fluff. Maybe something cliche like rosepetals on a white table cloth will generate a guy think "oh, this is supposed to be a romantic entity." Keep the lights low, have your first choice music playing softly.
Make sure the table is set with merely two place settings, and only two chairs, contained by case he think to invite someone else.
Keep the meal simple so when he arrives, you are not spending hte intact night within the kitchen.
As far as wine goes, this depends on how you are cooking the shrimp. My first thoughts are a sparkling wine resembling a dry pink Champagne. Give us the recipe so I can be more specific.
fried shrimp
How about Shrimp Scampi, it's jammy to fix and very incredibly delicious. Serve a green salad... My husband and I don't drink just ever, unless it's our anniversary and then I'll buy Arbor Mist, White Zinfandel, it's flimsy and light, penchant good next to anything you serve.
get a shrimp cocktail and put a red candle out and be paid a roast
