A friend and I are going out, and since i've never been to a handrail I was wondering what everyone might recommend to try! Im not much of a fruity drink character, so anything but that will do!

When I turned 21 I went to a street (called the Strip) that have bars up and down both sides. I go in to respectively bar and they adjectives have specials for your 21st birthday. I get a free drink at each fishing rod and had a blast. The single thing is that at most places they return with to pick the drink for you. I tried sooo many different drinks that hours of darkness. Maybe this will work for you - have them pick for you. :) Have fun and be nontoxic!
If youre gonna go near the rum and coke, make sure its Bacardi lantern rum, really good and smooth chew, or a jack daniels and coke.
Vodka and Tonic or Vodka and Red Bull. You won't be able to fancy the alcohol at all. Very well brought-up taste.
I other have the most fun at a restaurant shaft... like an Appleby's or Olive Garden. I conjecture it's a nice atmosphere for NOT making the same mistakes as surrounded by a dark handrail with lots of really drunk ethnic group.
If you like shots, Lemon Drops are nice. Absolut Citron shot served next to a Lemon wedge or slice and sugar (instead of salt).
Vodka tonic beside lime is good, as long as the tonic is apt.
Pina Coladas might just hit the spot. They also serve wines, so you might delight in a White Zinfandel too. I wouldn't mix the two drinks. LOL And I hope you have a designated driver so you and your friend will see various more birthdays.

At my friend's 21st birthday party, someone bought him an irish saloon bomb. If you want to try the complete opposite of a cute little fruity drink, that's probably it. It be ugly, smelled discouraging, and erupts into some kind of small chemical response or explosion seconds back it's consumed.
I prefer lemon Wyborowa, well-chilled and unpolluted by silliness like lemon wedge, tonic, and ice.
If you haven't have much alochol before, stick near fruity blended drinks - margaritas, pina coladas, mudslides (tastes like a blended coffee drink). Or try Malibu Rum (coconut flavored) beside pineapple juice. It's super sweet, but doesn't fondness to alcohol-ish. Don't get talk into shots unless you want to get sick!!
