There are lot's of "16" songs from the 60's & 70's -- capture them and play them at your party -
Have your colors black, silver and gold ingots. Place a black tablecloth on your main table and sprinkle gold ingots and silver
star shaped confetti all over it. Use gold ingots or silver colored napkins, plastic plates, untensils ( a good shindig store has these ).
Another view is to use gold and silver stars on the walls, doors, or put them on the floor near differant celebritey names on them ( Hollywood hoof it of fame ). Also festoon with differant movie posters.
Have someone set up a red capet nouns and set out disposable cameras and a basket so ethnic group can place them when done taking pictures ( paperozi ).
For a fun dessert conception you could have cupcakes beside differant movies written on them or star shaped cookies.
