Treat her similar to a queen,have a special place for her to sit, invite adjectives her special friends, have adjectives her favorite foods. Have a "formal" sit down dinner or you could have a "red hat" event!
have a big backyard bbq (lots of meat, side dishes, beverages and fruit). do a casino subject matter. play cards, dominoes, and roulette. or you can do a hawaiian luau and wear grass skirts and stuff. roast a whole pig or something. manufacture sure you invite all of the ethnic group and friends and record it for memories. trade name sure she has a money tree too.
I threw a 50th surprise do for my mother just later month. I went next to a queen for the day issue.
My mother was the closing of 10 children, so she had never have a real birthday group, so I went for a moment over the top, perhaps you can seize some ideas from what I did.
I be a little confused give or take a few catering or not. I decided not to despite my around 75 person guest detail. We really like home cooked food. I primarily ended up making a "clambake". Everyone loved it. Generally contained by a clam or lobster bake at hand is chicken, sausage, corn and potatoes. I did them all. The lobster tend to be a little bit expensive, but the food for everyone still finished up being smaller number than $1000. I bought 75 ears of corn and just threw them on the grill contained by the husks, wrapped 75 potatoes in foil broadsheet, about 5 plenty of frozen chicken (I generally don't buy these, but for grilled chicken they are fine), 10 links of sausage, 10 dozen clams and 30 total lobsters.
For decorations I did everything in rock tones for the queen. I actaully found it less expensive to buy sheets than table clothes, especially since I wasn't really interested within dry cleaning all those tableclothes. I certainly found them on ebay for less than $5 a piece surrounded by royal blue, purple, gold, and burgandy. Just the top sheet : ) In the middle of the table I alternated beta fish in bowls and candles. I covered one of my living room chairs near a few tableclothes and surrounded it with plastic garden bowls (I bought them at walmart for in the region of $10) filled near plastic "gem" stones, water and floating candles. I also bought a ton of gem toned balloons and have them floating around.
For music, I made 5 CD's that I put in the changer of music that I know that she really liked. It took in the order of a day to gain it all done, but it be worth it in the winding up to watch her break into the shuffle.
The most key thing is that you're mother have a blast.
If your mom has have an active time, I'd do a "This is Your Life" theme. It can be from childhood memories, photos, record voice messages put into a power point presentation or cam corder set up.
It can be simple involving immed family next to personalized messages to Mom about the influence she's have in their lives to over-elaborate by finding and bringing in folks or relatives she hasn't see in years. The conversation will probably be approaching I remember when... but that's usually the best story telling of domestic history you can have. Record it adjectives!!
An easy knees-up to plan would be a 50's party! Have everyone dress within 50's era clothing, have hoola hoops, even own a limbo contest, play 50's music (oldies)! Cook out hamburgers, hot dogs on grill! Since she was born contained by 50's she might really enjoy this!
For a subject, how about the era when she be a teenager? Or even the era she be born in? Pick the music, and clash the food to the era. Could be fun and nostalgic for her!
Your mom's problem antediluvian school, why don't you enjoy black & white ball or feeble school steppin shindig with old-fashioned school music.
