See my parent's anniversery is coming up in more or less a week and I was going to prepare a collation for them and have it already planed.Do you own any ideas of what I should do as within entrees, drinks, sides, dessert, and setting up the table?
Answers:
What a wonderful idea! Please preserve in mind any dietary constraints your parents might be have at this point in their lives as you plan the menu for them. Here are some philosophy:
1. If your parents drink alcohol and have favorite beverages, kind them or have the ingrediants on foot for them to make themselves.
2. Make sure you enjoy their favorite romantic music to add to the ambience of the evening. Pull out your best linens, favorite candles, put some fresh flowers on the table, and buy your mom a corsage. If your dad's a pipe or cigar smoker (heaven forbid!) own some of his favorite tobacco or smokes on hand for him as economically. This is not the time to moralize about the benefits of stopping smoking!
3. A nice dinner might consist of some of their favorite foods, but those that they don't hold very commonly such as:
Jumbo shrimp and filet mignon
Lobster tail and filet mignon
Chicken Pasta Alfredo (cheesy and rich)
Steak and sauteed mushrooms
You get the hypothesis!
4. Side dishes should include a vegetable and starch, unless your main dish is starch base.
Here are some menu ideas:
1. Chicken breasts stuffed near chopped artichoke hearts, goat cheese, bread crumbs, parsley and topped beside a white wine reduction. Served near wild rice pilaf and fresh green beans.
2. Ribeye steaks rubbed near kosher salt, cumin, chili powder, fresh ground pepper, and garlic. Serve beside sauteed mushrooms, mashed potatoes near sour cream, and fresh green beans.

a nice setting favorite flowers or color cheme.
favorite songs playing contained by the background.
What more or less making a nice big lasagna? There are so many different recipe now that can appeal to only just about anyone! And how more or less a big spinach salad? And some bread-sticks! You could go to your local bakery and pick up a tira mi su cake, or some cannolis, and buy some wine! Most organization at liquor stores are happy to suggest some biddable wines to pair next to whatever your cooking. Or if you're lucky plenty to live near a Trader Joe's, check out some option there. I'll include a connection about table settings...
Good Luck!
First get sure they do not have plans on their own, and consequently try making all their favorite foods.
