It's that time of year again where my birthday is coming up...but as expected...this year is the special sweet 16. Does anyone have any accepted wisdom at all for me? I am inviting around 20 general public and some close family member and really want to have something outdoors. Any suggestions please!?
Answers:
Turn your backyard into hawaii and hold a bbq. get some ticki tourches and a fire pit to roast marshmallows on some of those palm trees at lowes. you could even spread a baby pool up beside sand. Tell all your guests to wear in that best beach gear
you can hold a bbq in your fund yard
Pool Party, thats what I might be doing.
This grill has be asked many times, so if you research the cross-examine you might get some other accepted wisdom too. I love the 16 Candles/ Pretty in Pink subject matter. Have you guests wear pink (or dress 80's), show 16 Candles and Pretty in Pink, deck with 16 Candles...see where on earth I'm going?
Rent a Suite at a hotel.
maybe a BBQ
I would read out to have a BBQ so that every one is happy. Maybe combine it with a pool group or a day at the park.
HAVE FUN!
Happy B-Day!:)
Pool get-together is good, but if you can't afford it, grasp a kiddie pool and play yard games approaching bocce, croquet, badminton, etc. Don't be afraid to relive childhood fun!
