i think a simple celebration will make him joyful but if ur boyfriend loves noise,rocking music afterwards a big party will be fine.anyway as far as the place for the group is concerned i personally perceive that home sweet home is a perfect place but logically there will be greatly of mess afterwards and if you don't like to mess your home(as everyone)you can hold the celebration in a lecture hall or in a bungalow (near the the deep or near the mountains...)simple food will simply be perfect!sausages,pizzas.hey own u eaten chicken briyani.a really nice breakfast time which i adore but it is not simple.(it contains rice,chicken,potatoes and spices). How about watching a nice motion picture together with adjectives his friends...BEST OF LUCK for all the preparation that you enjoy to do.

Maybe you can rent a hall some where on earth. Get a good DJ next to good music. All kind of food. All kinds of snacks and food. From chips and pizza to pasta and cookies.
