How around the snow dome place - you could go skiing!? Otherwise isn't within a kind of activity place with shops, restaurants and bar (not the town) a little out of town - I go there a few years ago when I go to a concert at MK Bowl? How about trying to find one of those places that does Medieval banquet... I know there is one contained by Welwyn Garden City but I think they are adjectives over the place...
