I am helping my cousin organize a multiple birthday knees-up for my sister who is going to be 40, my aunt - she is going to be 50 and my dad he is going to be 60. We don't know what theme to use or how to do up! This party will be after Christmas since their birthday is at the begining of January. ANY IDEAS? Thank you!

I would jump with black and white, I don`t know with a splash of red. Polka dots and gingham and stripes. Black and white balloon. You could do something with the number 150---that's the number of years they adjectives add up to! A one and a partially century party? You don't have need of a theme, but you could do a 40's, 50's and 60's get-together (going by the eras that each of them grew up in). Have sundry decor relating to each era, and a mix of music from those three decades. A three tiered cake next to each tier decked out like one of the decades (I'm thinking tie dyed or hippie flowers for the 60's tier---)
Check ebay for custom invitations. Lots of crafters out in attendance will make invites to your specs. Or purely use Evite.
welcome over the mount, please park all walker in the handicapped zone! LOL
If they've get a good sense of humor enjoy a funeral themed party. Have adjectives the guests dress in black, and tender their condolences. You could even make a casket and bury "Good times", "Youth", "Staying up historic 10:00", whatever.
what?
We have a similar idea contained by our family near multiple birthdays (we had every decade covered from 10 y/o through 80 y/o) and required to call it a "decades party". You could hold trivia (I just saw a book from the year I be born and the current events, music, fashion, etc) or you could research what be going on the year the relatives were born and perchance turn it into a game, or trade name a collage of that year. Even a collage of photos of the person. Since it is such minstone birthday it is nice to paint the town red that. Good luck!!
This might be kinda contrite, but why not a 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s theme for respectively person? Or something resembling that, the person who is 60 be born in the 40s, the soul who is 50 was born contained by the 50s, the person who is 40 be born in the 60s, kinda unusual, huh?
What about a sock hop?! Basically, what is call a 50's party, complete next to hoop and poodle skirts and penny loafers and ponytails. Or maybe a 70's matter party near bell bottoms, platform heeled shoes, afro puffs and/or long falls, false eyes lashes, hot pants and go-go boots! Go to celebration city. They have profoundly of decorating planning and get a well-mannered DJ who has a huge variety of outmoded school music. Have fun!
Rock-N-Roll covering adjectives hits from those era's

FIFTIES PARTY, WITH POODLE SKIRTS, LEATHER JACKETS AND JEANS,ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC,,RECORDS FOR DECO,AND ALL RETRO KIND OF FOOD, SHAKES, BURGERS, SUNDAYS FOR DESERT,AND HIRE A COOK FOR THIS OCCASION, NAMASTE...
