My sister's birthday party- necessitate straightforward gathering foods?

Hello, thanks for reading! I'm putting together for a moment birthday party for my sister. She's turning 26 (5 years elder than I am). It's not big or anything, I don't think she's really a group animal kind of gal, so it's basically me and a few family member. I think I've already approved what kind of cake to formulate (a large double-decker strawberry shortcake), but I thought it would be nice to enjoy a few salty carnival foods availible for munching on as well. I own a couple of ideas, such as cheese fondue near crusty bread for dipping, and fried chicken bites. I would really appreciate additional design on ---simple--- party finger style foods. I solely have a restricted time to make them, so it would be nice if it be quick to construct. I also will not have access to a oven, with the sole purpose a stove top and microwave. Thanks a lot for any lend a hand! -Autumn

What other works for me and it's quick is a Round Pumpernickel bread hollowed out and full up with Spinach dip and you use the bread bits to dip. Also I do a tray of different veggies next to a few different dips or you can just use fruit farm dressing as a dip along with cheese, crackers and a few cold cuts, pickles and so on. A Variety. Have fun!
Almost everyone like Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip...even people who meditate they don't like veggies. This recipe by Alton Brown of the Food Network is one of the easiest and best I've tried. It can be totally prepared within the microwave. Fix ahead of time and then reheat. I do it adjectives the time.

Oooh there's TONS of jammy things you can make: two of my favorites are

Stuffed Mushrooms & Bruschetta

Giada DeLaurentis on the Food Network a short time ago made something that are unlike any of that usually make:
you can shift to Foodtv.com and in the recipe slot type in stuffed mushrooms, you can pick out ones next to the best rating and ones according to difficulty.

For the bruschetta it's so simply, you can buy a French Baguette or you can buy pre-cooked bruschetta bread. Cut the bread into one inch slices on an angle, put a little olive grease on them and bake them within the over at 400o for about 20 minutes or until golden.

Then dice up some tomatoes, garlic, basil and (if you want olives) and put in extra virgin olive oil and brackish & pepper to taste... put it within a nice bowl, put your bruschetta bread around it, and everyone can spoon some on.
(you can also look this one up on the food network website!)
