Recipes for Pirate-Themed Party?

Does anyone have any appetizer or dessert recipe that would work well for a pirate-themed event? (The party is for adults.)

Spread tons of choclate coins(the gold foil ones) adjectives over the tables. Label alcohol as grog. Go to the dollar sotre and go and get gummy octupuses and fish, whatever they own that lives in the the deep. Make some blue jello, put it in cups, later add gummies until that time it solidifies.
Put pirate flags on anything not piratey enough. Or put crossbones and skulls on it.
I construe just any obedient dish would work fine, doesn't have to be "pirate" or anything.

You might consider putting out a bowl of lime wedge, so the "pirates" can suck on a lime and avoid scurvy (or be "lymies")
CARIBBEAN FUDGY BROWNIES

1/2 cup butter
3 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon spicy or dark rum
1/8 teaspoon Jamaican allspice (optional)
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon saline

Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
Grease 8 inch square baking pan, greasing singular the bottom and leaving the sides ungreased.

In a prevailing conditions saucepan, stir together chocolate and butter over low heat setting until smooth, almost 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir contained by sugar.

Whisk in eggs, one at a time, stirring economically after each extra. Stir in flour, baking powder and brackish, vanilla and rum; stir only until mixture is smooth and adjectives ingredients are combined.

CARIBBEAN STYLE SPICY BAKED POTATOES

3 lbs. potatoes
4 onions, finely sliced
8 hulking ripe tomatoes, cubed
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 1/2 tsp.paprika powder
3 tbsp. cumin powder
1 1/2 cup meat or chicken broth (can be substituted by
1 1/2 cup of water and one condensed broth cube)
1 tbsp. wheat flour
3 tbsp. parsley, finely chopped
3 tbsp. olive or vegetable grease
salt & pepper to tang

Begin by boiling or baking the potatoes until halfway cooked but still somewhat firm. Let cool, consequently cut them in slices in the order of 3/16" to 1/4" thick. You may will the skin on.
In the meanwhile, sauté the onions in the grease, adding the garlic a bit subsequent and then tallying the tomatoes, paprika, cumin, flour and broth and continue cooking, stirring regularly until a sticky, chunky sauce in obtain.

Add salt and pepper to your taster. In an oven-resistant transparent dish (or skillet), spread a very fine coating of the sauce, after divide the potatoes and the remaining sauce into three parts: place a layer of potatoes, sprinkle next to a bit of salt (optional), cover it near a layer of sauce and sprinkle a tablespoon of parsley. Repeat 2 more times.

Place the dish into a 350o preheated oven and cook until most of the boiling fluid is gone and a golden brownish color is formed on its surface.

A tasty dish for a muted meal or as a side dish. You can mate it beside a medium-bodied red wine such a fresh Shirah, or a good frozen beer for those hot summer days!


PIRATE STICKS

1/2 lb. top sirloin beef, cut within cubes
8 mushrooms
8 sm. pieces green pepper
8 cherry tomatoes
1/4 c. bottled salad dressing
1 pkg. precooked rice

1. Put on each skewer 2 pieces of meat, a mushroom, a piece of pepper and a tomato. Repeat until the skewer is chock-full.
2. Spoon salad dressing over pirate sticks.

3. Put all 4 sticks surrounded by broiler pan in need rack, 3 inches from flame.

4. Broil 15 minutes or until meat is done. Turn once.

5. Serve over hot cooked rice.

PIRATE STEAK

1 (12 oz.) can beer
1/2 c. chili sauce
1/4 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. Dijon type mustard
1/4 tsp. red pepper sauce
1/8 tsp. gooey smoke
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves crushed garlic
3 lbs. beef sirloin, 1 1/2" - 2 " thick
1 tsp. brackish
1/2 tsp. pepper

Mix all ingredients, except steak and brackish and pepper. Simmer 30 minutes. Brush meat with sauce. Place steak on grill 4" from environment coals. Cook 15 minutes on each side, basting frequently next to sauce. Season with brackish and pepper after turning and after removing from grill. Serve with remaining sauce. 8 servings.

PIRATES PUNCH

20 oz. pineapple liquid
20 oz. grapefruit juice
48 oz. apple liquid
40 oz. rum

Mix. makes 1 gallon. For smaller batch, mix 1/3 rum to 2/3 juices.

Use plastic olive 'swords' to spear something you made.
Oreo Balls

o 1 package Oreo cookies
o 1 packet cream cheese, softened
o 1 package almond yap

In a plastic bag crush Oreo cookies. In a bowl blend crushed Oreo cookies and cream cheese. Roll into bite-size ball. Dip each bubble into melted almond yap and place on waxed article. Set in refrigerator and permit chill. If desired, drizzle melted chocolate on respectively ball.

To be paid the "piratey" you can decorate them next to skull and crossbones or add black sprinkles.
