NYC private delegation - how long is long adequate for an plain tablet?

I'm throwing a graduation party for my boyfriend and here should be about 40-50 guests. I'm trying to amount out how much I'll need to spend for an begin bar, but not sure how frequent hours I should hold one...

Answer:
When does the party start? I say-so about three hours
4 hours is plenty of time for an open pole. But ask the manager if you can enjoy an option for a 5th hour if your guests are enjoy themselves.

We give an extension frequently.
definitely a couple hours to three hours
an hour & a half no more.......
one hour is long enough....get it a cash inn after the first hour.
I would utter do what you can afford. Don't worry so much if it's 'long' adequate...one hour to four hours...whatever fits your budget. merely make sure the guests know how long it is break open for so they don't feel ripped if suddenly it's a brass bar.
three days
2 hours should be ample time but not get to emaciated and have time to sober up if your guests enjoy to
I've see a lot of private party that begin next to a "cocktail hour". This has several advantages, icluding that it make everyone arrive on time, unless they don't want any free drinks!

It's other fun, people grasp their buzz on quickly and are more potential to spend money when you switch to cash pub and dinner service.

Have fun!
I would articulate about 2 hours...3 max. Be sure your guests know to arrive in good time, and you should have food already prepared and everything so not a soul is drinking on an empty stomach.
Two hours is long enough. Just be sure to specify the gala start and end times on the invitation (ex. 10pm - midnight).
I think I would foundation the decision on the food situation. For instance, if you plan to sit down for dinner after the cocktails, an hour is more afterwards enough time.
If this is simply a summit for drinks and chatting, then you might hold the option of snacks or passed hors d'oeuvres. This keep your guests from getting smashed from the get turn, so it makes ancestors wanna sip on their drinks longer. Now your looking at 2-3 hours.
If they are only coming to drink, next to no food, dinner, or plans to follow then again, 2-3 hours, but maintain in mind 3 hours is going to result contained by some pretty intoxicated guests, so watch them as they exit and make sure they are ok.
Shoot for the low close of your estimate, and if you find people are still predisposed to drink toward the end, and you dont want to foot the bill...know of 1 or 2 cool bar nearby that folks "shouldn't miss" and then you can troop them over there....which rejuvenates the crowd near a change of venue, and absolve your pocketbook of any more responsibility.
