My boyfriend's birthday is tomorrow, and I want to give him something beside his presents. I don't know if I should take some time to fashion some cupcakes or buy him an ice cream cake (which he loves).
Or I could so something else. Any suggestions would facilitate.

You can either buy the icecream cake or get your own version. If I be the guy, I would prefer my girlfriend to bake it herself. The best article about making it yourself is that it can be more personalized, you can choose the cake, the toppings, everything. Just overheat the cupcakes and when it's time, cut the cupcakes in partially and scoop some of his favorite icecream within there, put in some sprinkles or cherries, drizzle chocolate syrup, ... I'm sure he'll love it all like peas in a pod.
