I am have a small get-together.....I will be serving an appetizer... What should I serve near it?

I will be having a small get-together which will inaugurate right around dinner time. I will be serving an appetizer of phillo-wrapped asparagus with a roasted red pepper aiolli. What would be a nice accompanyment next to it and also a good choice for a dessert item? Thank you!

Answer:
For an accompaninent near your appetizer you want something that is somewhat related and however distinct. Why not try a salad with lettuce, green onions, bell pepper, and those sizeable red peppers that look close to bell peppers? Make a simple salad dressing near lemon, olive oil, and fresh basil. Also serve some hot fresh baguettes. Perhaps some walnuts or pecans as powerfully.

White wine.

You'll want a light dessert as resourcefully. Lemon gelato or lemon sorberto would be my choice. You can find recipes on string. To spice things up, you might buy some crystalized ginger to put on top, but that's really not necessary.
How about fondue? cheese or cholcolate, it is a great course to break the ice beside people!
a light white wine. cheesecake assortment is other nice, or cheesecake with red raspberry sauce. and ask respectively person if they want the berries as some citizens cant eat the seed.
Champagne. for dessert: chocolate fondue next to fruit and angel food cake.
Instead of dessert I prefer a cheese and fruit platter. This I place contained by the centre of the table for the guests to back themselves over coffee or drinks. This part of the teatime can often verbs until the end of the evening since it creates a great atmosphere for chatting.
