Is a Mardi Gras themed party a angelic idea for preteens? What games/activities/food?

You could introduce them to Francophone culture. Maybe some cajun food or position your own parade? (no flshing) or design their own mask?
I don't surmise is a good model for preteens. I would not allow my kids to do one at this age.

Maybe you could enjoy like insincere money for actions for things and lots of games resembling making masks and so on.
i dont think it's a unpromising idea. i have one when i was 14. own the beaded necklaces, serve some new orleans dishses and freshly have some great cajun music, jazz music and regular games. the games dont hold to fit the theme. however you can enjoy a kareoke machine and the kids can show off. and while they perform they can throw out necklaces out to the audience! the decorations are adjectives over the place, you can go to a group store and they'll have plenty of hat, and decor. have fun!! that's the point. mari gras is not going on for showing your boobs lol it's just something they do. suitable luck!
I presume it would be cute. My daughter is turning 16 at the end of may and she have decided on this matter for that party. This will be the 2nd time she have used this theme. The leading reason is the colors and self able to appendage out beads as favors. Go to oriental trading and they hold free shipping and 15% off until the 20th of this month. A fun entry to do as a contest for a prize is make and wear your own shroud. Then have a contest/judge who have the best, worst, etc.... for prizes. Good Luck
ya know those Mardi Gras peep are all give or take a few the beads and parade and colorful disguises and masks and unsurprisingly the music is loud JAZZ... it could be fun... cause the kids love bead and bracelets... let them pilfer them home afterwards too
