I'm having a picnic next to six friends tomorrow. I need food that I can fashion NOW (as in chilled and ready-to-serve foods) and surrounded by the morning. Also, my family's vegan so we don't really own any type of meat (Unless you consider eggs meat...) So yeah...
Please don't include:
Cookies
Chips
Water/other drinks
Potato Salad
Pinwheels
Fruit
(I've already got those covered)
I know it seem like alot already, but these are some HUNGRY li'l buggers.
Thanks.

Well, you'd hold to search through this register, but at Martha Stewart's website I've found a list of rushed recipies. I hope it helps!
bagels near cream cheese
My mom makes these awesome sand that don't have meat (if you don't count eggs).
12 boild eggs, chopped
1/2 cup of relish
Mayo/Miricle Whip (your choise) to fancy
1 can of manderin oranges
1 cup of cashews
several crewsants (sp?) or bread of your choise
Mix the eggs, relish, and cashews in a roomy enough bowl. Add Mayo to the mass that you like. Finally, incorporate the oranges and spread on to your bread.
I don't think you can be Vegan and put away eggs, but what do I know. Anyway, if you eat eggs, sort deviled eggs. Those always dance over very economically.
As to a dessert make Scotcharoos
1 Cup of white sugar
1 Cup of muted corn syrup
1 1/2 Cups of smooth peanut butter
6 Cups of Rice Krispies
1/2 bag of chocolate chips
1/2 case of butterscotch chips
On your stove top bring the first 3 ingredients to a gentle boil, mixing resourcefully. After it begins to boil, remove from bake and add the Rice Krispies. Put into a 9x13 vessel, smooth out the top and let cool. When it cools, liquefy the chips in a jar on the stove over low heat, mix okay, when that is melt pour over the bars and permit harden. YUMMO
