Onion soup + 2 dishes. What should I serve?

Answer:
do you have a environment? such as asian, italian, chineese etc:

try onion soup for starter, tagitelle pasta in a white wine sauce, strawberry cheesecake for afters.

or. onion soup, roast beef dinner and apple crumble.

if you are into pastas afterwards go near a pasta in a rich sauce
why not step with a curry- although it wouldnt dance with onion soup. try spring rolls or samosa beside that one
or pizza, create your own,

pudding.
If this is for a long term reletionship why not buy fresh halve strawberries and melt some chocolate and rob it upstairs.
serve stuffed chicken breast on a bed of mash potatoes for main and zilch beats a slightly thaw chocolate cake with cream or if the soul doesn't like chocolate after apple crumble, its still winter so nice warm food that my mother used to net.....yummy!
Crown rib roast and a 6 item salad beside various choices of dressings for the salad.
depends on what your guests like...
This time of year...a spinach salad is VERY fitting, because it is hearty...and unproblematic to get (cheap too)..lettuce adjectives is frost-burned and brown...
wash the spinach...dry it..(spinner...or put contained by a hand towel and swing it around...)
slice up red onions...thoroughly thin...
mushrooms...bacon..tomatoes (the little grape tomatoes are really scrumptious.)....serve with a muted bleu cheese dressing...(or any dressing you like)
maybe try a dairy farm...or poppy-seed..

NEXT...why not do a pork tenderloin?...on the BBQ...
or you can roast it too...
salt and pepper the meat...put within a NEW CLEAN plastic bag...tag on in some fresh ground ginger...almost 2 tsp...
add surrounded by a heaping tsp of chopped garlic...
liquid of one lemon...and a couple sprigs of rosemary..take bad the leaves and "bruise" them...don't cut them...just attain the oils moving surrounded by the leaves...gives more flavour..affix a couple tablespoons of honey and some dijon mustard...a good 2 tblsp
allow adjectives that to marinate with the pork for at LEAST 2 hours.
THEN...cook slowly SLOWLY...over coals on BBQ..or contained by a 350 oven until med doneness...
remove and cover with foil (shiny side down) for 10 minutes...slice meagrely on an angle plate and serve !!

for potatoes...why not slice up a bunch...and some onion...add saline & pepper
put some oil spray on a big sheet of tin foil...plop the potatoes and onions on the foil...drop on some butter or margarine....wrap up tight...do them contained by the oven or BBQ at same time as doing the pork....YUMMY...
and don't forget the sour cream for them..
have a nice dinner....it's not an expensive one...and it's not complex to make, any..
Chicken would progress well. I form an awesome baked chicken dish. Use skinless, boneless chicken breasts--slice to make them strong or use cutlets. Melt 2 cups of butter and add 1 cup of Parmesan cheese to it and 4 cloves of pressed or minced garlic.
In a 13x9 baking container, spread 3/4 bag of Pepperidge Farm stuffing crumbs (other brands are ok but this munificent makes it penchant the best). Dip each piece of chicken within the butter mix, then roll surrounded by pan beside crumbs from one end to the other. You requirement to stir the butter mix from time to time so the cheese doesn't settle to the bottom. When all chicken is coated beside the crumbs and the dish is full, pour remaining butter mix over all of it. Bake contained by a 350 oven, covered for about 40 minutes. Then happen upon and leave contained by for another 5 minutes or so. It is yummy !!
I usually serve with a right Italian salad and/or broccoli --steamed with some lemon liquid on it and salt and pepper.
Always some sort of crusty bread with onion soup....it's the best. I don't know roughly the other one...
Meat loaf and mash potatoes with gravy. Garlic bread. A side salad next to any dressing.
Follow next to a nice roast beef cooked with potatoes and carrot and a salad.
Onion soup sounds virtuous - be sure to top with a slice of toast that have been spread beside dijon mustard. A really easy most important dish is mix 2 tablespoons of low fat mayo near 2ozs of mashed stilton & spread on underside of chicken & consequently wrap parma ham or raw bacon around full thing & heat in oven near jacket potatoes or roasties for 45mins on 180degrees. Serve with any veg or salad.
How about a nice Risotto?? Very flowing to make and delectable! Follow it with some Italian Ice-cream for dessert.
