Fortune cookies can be tricky to make - it's essential to make sure that the cookie batter is spread out evenly on the baking sheet. Instead of using the rear of a wooden spoon to spread the batter, it's better to gently tilt the baking sheet final and forth as needed. Wearing cotton gloves makes it easier to touch and shape the hot cookies. This fortune cookie recipe makes roughly 10 cookies.
INGREDIENTS:
2 large egg whites
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract
3 tablespoons vegetable grease
8 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 teaspoons marine
PREPARATION:
1. Write fortunes on pieces of paper that are 3 1/2 inches long and 1/2 inch widespread. Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease 2 9-X-13 inch baking sheets.

2. In a environment bowl, lightly pace the egg white, vanilla extract, almond extract and vegetable oil until frothy, but not stiff.

3.Sift the flour, cornstarch, saline and sugar into a separate bowl. Stir the water into the flour mixture.

4. Add the flour into the egg white mixture and stir until you enjoy a smooth batter. The batter should not be runny, but should drop easily rotten a wooden spoon.

To form the fortune cookie shape, fold the cookie contained by half, afterwards gently verbs the edges downward over the rim of a glass, wooden spoon or the rim of a muffin tin. Place the finished cookie in the cup of the muffin tin so that it keep its shape. Continue with the rest of the cookies.

Cheaper if you just buy them... seriously. You can wage a couple bucks for a box of 50 and pay a fortune only making them.

But if you wanted your own fortunes, use tweezers to bring out the fortunes in it already and replace them near your own.

Easy Fortune Cookie Recipe

8 ounces all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons cornstarch
4 ounces sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 ounces vegetable grease
4 ounces egg whites
1 tablespoon water
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 300F.
In a weighty bowl, mix the following ingredients: flour, corn starch, sugar and salt.
Blend within oil, egg whites, sea and vanilla extract.
Beat until smooth consistency.

Write your own "Fortune" on a piece of paper 2 1/2" by 1/2".
Scoop a tablespoon of cookie batter and spread evenly into a 4" circle on a very well greased baking sheet. Bake cookie for about 14 minutes or until delicately golden brown. Remove one cookie at a time from the oven. You have give or take a few 15 seconds working time formerly the cookie hardens.

Place the "Fortune" surrounded by the middle of the cookie. Shape the cookie by folding it in partly and grasp both ends. Place the finished cookie in a muffin vessel with the ends down to hold it one-off shape.
