Ummmm......I don't give attention to that "boasted" is a method of cooking. However, fried means, a method of cooking, within which the certain food is cooked surrounded by a type of fat, or grease of some kind. In this covering the chicken would probably be covered in a flour, egg, and possibly milk, depending on what you close to, batter. Then some seasoning could be added to it. MMMMM..........yum, I wonder is KFC is open?:)
Anything fried by a fastfood is not very full-bodied as they use partially-hydrogenated fats (shortening) because they are cheap. If you fry it yourself you own a choice of oils to use and if you aren't cheap you will choose canola or evoo. I own not heard give or take a few broasted chicken. I guess you meant roasted and the b added to signify you baste it near its marinade while roasting.
What are you boasting nearly?
Fried is full of grease but boasted is full of attitude.
Broasted chicken is cooked surrounded by a pressure cooker, fried chicken is usually fried in a vessel or thrown it some deep fryer
