Does anyone enjoy the recipe for a soup that have pecans and grapes surrounded by it?

I lived in Mexico for a couple of years and go to a Christmas party and we have soup that had pecan and grapes surrounded by it. I don't think it is a Mexican dish, but considered necessary to know if anyone has ever have this soup and if you have the recipe for it. The ceremonial dinner room was within a German restaurant.
