How can we irradicate rice weevils contained by granaries?

Answers:
It is difficult to totally eradicate them. Depending on the size of the grainary, if they are only within the silos or not, where you are located (weather, temperatures), etc. If it is confined to silos you can any use methyl bromide as a fumigant, or high warmth. The first thing to do is find a well-mannered pest control company to look things over. Begin cleaning the grainary more thoroughly than you ever have: cracks, crevices, inside machinery. Use a strong vacuum near a fine filter, brushes, scrapers, etc. but NO compressed air... that will freshly blow eggs and bugs around. The PCO can then use some crack and crevice sprays near residual. But only the PCO can determine the best treatments.
