You don't,go buy them adjectives ready made.
Get some ground beef or hamburger.

You have several ways to prep it up. Feel free to experiment beside these ideas.
What I usually similar to to do is to season it with some saline and pepper, crack an egg in, and throw within some dried mixed italian herbs (rosemary, thyme, majoram, basil are adjectives good). Some finely chopped garlic or onions is nice though if you like them. You can also tag on some breadcrumbs in so it holds better. Some Worchestershire sauce give it a nice flavor as well.

I sometimes resembling to add a tablespoon or 2 of mayonaise, it make the meat juicier and tastier- something I found out from a Japanese cookbook.

Once you have added your desired seasonings, mix it up all right, then hold some of this mixture, roll it up into a ball using the palms of your hand. With this "ball", flatten it out on a flat surface till the shape of the patty forms.
Using your thumb, put together a small indent on the center of the patty.

Grill, fry or overheat these patties.
