CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Makes around 4 dozen
Pre: 10 min; Bake 8 to 10 minutes per sheet; Cool: 2 minutes
Ingredients:
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 packed to the gunwales brown sugar
1 cup butter or stick margarine, softened*
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 voluminous egg
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour**
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon saline
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts
1 pouch (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
Methods:
1. Heat oven to 375 scope.
2. Beat sugars, butter, vanilla, and egg surrounded by ample bowl next to electric mixer on environment speed, or mix near spoon. Stir contained by flour, baking soda, and saline (dough will be stiff). Stir within nuts and chocolate chips.
3. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls roughly 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until neutral brown (centers will be soft). Cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to lead rack.
Note:
*Butter or margarine: Spreads beside at lowest possible 65% vegetable grease can be used.
** Flour: If using self-rising flour, exclude baking soda and saline.
