A Packet of yeast?

Some recipes I own ask for 1 or 2 packets of yeast. But what I hold with me is one unharmed can. About how many tablespoons of yeast would a packet be?

Answers:
A standard packet is usually 11 grams and so you would own to use 1 tablespoon which contains 12 grams, as a standard. Not heaped or too flat.

Hope this help.
Hi, on the back of a packet of yeast it usually say that it contains two and a quarter teaspoons of yeast. There are three teaspoons in a tablespoon.
Angelawolfe is correct, it's 2 1/4 tsp. You can even purchase a yeast spoon that measures it out exactly, I bought one from King Arthur Flour catalog.
