Kumkuats?

I have a Kumkuat tree within my backyard and I don't know what to use them for. I saw them in a grocery store and they be pretty expensive so I guess they are useful...but for what?

The kumquat is not of the genus citrus but is a close relative. It belongs to the genus fortunella.

Kumquats are delicious seared on one side. Cut them within half and dip contained by fine sugar, then consent to them sizzle away for a minute or so in a hot container so that the sugar forms a crust. Then when you bite into the fruit there is a crunch, and next a burst of molten kumquaty goodness. These are great over rime cream.
