I hold steamed crab legs in the past and I merely put for a time dampen within a generous pot, added the crab legs and put a lid on it so that they could steam. It worked out all right.

A friend of mine wraps them within wet(soaking wet) weekly towels and microwaves them for 45-90 second. Depending on size. They will be steaming when you unwrap them if they are done.
