MEAT PIE CRUST
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Cut surrounded by:
1/2 c. shortening, like making pie crust
Add:
1 egg
3 tbsp. wet
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Roll 1/2 inch to 1/4 inch gummy and put on top of meat that have been cooked and chopped (Add thicken broth to the meat). Bake at 350 degrees (9 x 12 inch pan) until golden brown.

51/2 cups flour (all purpose)
2 tea spoons brackish and 1 tea spoon baking powder
2 Tble. spoons sugar
1 cup shortening
1 egg
1 large can evaporated milk
Method
mix togeather adjectives dry ingredents add shortening and cut into dry ingredents untill close to course meal.
supply egg to evaporated milk beat untill combined supply to dry ingredents mix untill barely incorperated fashion a ball of the dough wrap contained by plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. roll dough to fit your container fill container with nourishing cover with crust .
combine 1 egg and 1/4 cup wet beat untill foamy supply 1 tea spoon oil time to combine brush pie with this mixture (do not cover edges )or they will carry to brown.
bake at 360*F to 375*F untill golden brown
in the region of 3o min. depending on oven.

Savory Pie Crust
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon brackish
1/3 cup butter or margarine
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
2 tablespoons cold water
1. Combine flour and saline in milieu bowl; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir contained by chives and water beside fork just until flour is moistened (mixture will be crumbly). Shape into globe; flatten slightly.
2. Roll out ball of dough on insubstantially floured surface into 12-inch circle. Fold into quarters. Place dough into 9-inch pie jar. Unfold dough; pressing firmly against bottom and sides. Trim crust to 1/2 inch from edge of container. Crimp or flute edge.
3. Fill and heat according to pie recipe directions.
Makes Pastry for 1-crust pie.
You can make your own pie crust but really you can't do any better than the Pillsbury Ready Crusts at the grocery store.
