Making chicken pita pockets for dinner, and be wondering what else taste worthy stuffed surrounded by a pita pocket?

Any ideas, I am going for lean and hygienic...

Answers:
I liked satisfying the pita with a salad. Any of your favorite salad will do. Just don't use too much salad dressing, the pita will bring back soggy. Either that or you toast the pita briefly then swarm it with your salad. Very virtuous for the summer months.
I eat my pita pretty often toasted next to humus on them.

try this recipe

1 pita bread
1/2 cup taco seasoned cooked ground beef
1/4 cup boston lettuce, shredded
1 roma tomato, chopped
3 tablespoons olives (sliced)
2 ounces monterey jack cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons green onions, chopped

Cut pita bread in partially,
Divide beef filling between halves.
Place shredded lettuce, chopped tomato and olives inside respectively pita.
Divide shredded cheese between halves.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
Add some shredded cheese (your choice) and steamed vegetables (I prefer spinach, but some race think that's weird). I also approaching to coat the inside of the pita with Miracle Whip past stuffing it.
You can almost add anything. Keep beside the traditional of hummus, raita etc or you could add Italian or Greek type filling - tomato, olives, anchovies etc. Just about anything taste good contained by Pita.

It's one of my favourite breakfasts to run - scrambled egg filling.
