24 chicken wings, wing and drummettes
1 cup water-chestnut flour (this is probably the secret ingredient but I use regular flour!)
4 cups peanut grease for deep-frying
MARINADE
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1/8 cup light soy sauce
1/8 cup dry sherry or Chinese rice -- wine
1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
Directions:
Prepare the marinade and marinate the wing pieces for 1/2 hour. Drain and toss contained by the water-chestnut flour. Deep-fry at 360F until golden brown, about 5 minutes.

Chinese 5 spice make the taste that you might be looking for. I buy free reach good ability chicken. Big difference in the drink as well. Cant afford to chomp through it often so it is a TRUE treat. Good luck..
Steam the chicken wings first next to ginger.
Marinade with a brackish, pepper, and teriyaki sauce.
Refrigerate overnight. Then cook in the philosophical fryer.
If you prefer the breaded variety. Marinade chicken next to salt garlic, and pepper. Prepare batter of flour mixed near egg.

1 tablespoon rice wine

2) Coat chicken wing with flour
3) Deep-fry until golden.
