There are also stovetop smokers available. I enjoy one and it cooks food beside bake from the stovetop while impart a smoked flavor to the food. It does not cure the food next to the smoke but lone flavors it.
This week I took a can of crabmeat and smoked it for simply five minutes within apple wood and dumped the crab over my pasta sauce and angle curls and go to town.
The stovetop smoker is around $70 US and a nice risk to own surrounded by your kitchen.
Does great salmon next to alder smoke!
