Fruit, nuts, coconut, chocolate bits, etc. (optional)
Use 2 tablespoons water for crisp cookie or 1/4 cup for soft cookie.
Combine ingredients and drop by spoonfuls. Or roll into ball and flatten. Or form into roll, chill and cut into slices. Use your imagination. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

Yes, you can! Just got BettyCrocker.com. They should enjoy recipes on at hand.
I know I enjoy a recipe for cookies made with a Pillsbury cake mix....and I found it right on the side of the box. I would assume you could use any cake mix.
not sure
I do it adjectives the time.
1 cake mix, 1 stick of softened butter, 1 egg.
Mix well and drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet (you can weakly grease it if you are worried about sticking). Works really in good health with the lemon, coconut, and butter pecan cake mixes.
Here is one recipe
Butterscotch Cookies
1 yellow cake mix
1 sm. pkg. instant butterscotch pudding
1 c. chopped pecans(optional)
3/4 c. grease
1 egg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix ingredients except nuts, surrounded by a lg. bowl, using electric mixer. Dough is stiff.
Stir in pecans by foot.
Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place 2" apart on greased baking sheet. Bake 15 -18 min. Cool 3 min on baking sheet. Transfer to flex rack. Makes 3 dozen.
You can substitute any pudding.
